Build a cinematic spy thriller across five Chicago locations in one night — the Merchandise Mart, a CTA train, an L platform, a Wendella boat on the Chicago River, and a Chicago Fire Department rescue boat — with a full screenplay, CG villain, VFX sequences, and a two-hour window to shoot on live CTA tracks before trains resumed service.
We wrote the screenplay, built every shot around a two-hour CTA dead-track window, and sequenced five locations so an advance crew could build each set while we filmed the last. A Wendella boat docked where boats don’t dock. A fire rescue boat became a spy thriller prop. A 104-year-old, beloved nun became the head of mission control. Emmy Award-winning.
